How many cylon

And you know what it gets you? Exactly nothing. The Mastermind Some would say the brains of the operation, they could be right. Number One represents the mockery of other people's beliefs, an atheist at heart, he enjoys nothing more than hating on divinity. Sadistic, unsympathetic and cruel. He believes in going to extreme lengths to maintain control.

He knows a lot more about what goes on behind the scenes than all his sibling models. The Number Ones all share an identical personality which owes to their unique aspiration of becoming more machine-like.

Add items to section Final Five. Aaron Douglas. Final Five Member I feel something in here. Something true. But here I am setting [explosive] charges in this special place. Holiest of the holies.

And I'm gonna blow it up. As a member of the Final Five, Tyrol is fundamentally different from the other models. His 'programming' is not as easy to clasify. However, Tyrol always shows a high sense of loyalty and understands the way things work. He is a brilliant engineer which seems to have been utilised from his blocked memories. Michael Trucco. Final Five Member Gotta lighten up a bit. It's only the end of the world. As a member of the Final Five, Anders is fundamentally different from the other models.

His 'programming' is not as easy to classify. Anders always appears as the most morally adjusted individual in comparison to his compatriots. He is a quick learner as evidenced by his adpating to guerilla warfare on both Capricas and becoming a Viper Pilot in a short time. After an almost fatal gunshot, Anders memories all come flooding back to him.

He struggles as he recites the Final Five's life and mission before they were betrayed by Number One. In an attempt to save his life, he was operated on to remove the bullet imbedded in the back of his skull.

This proves counter-active as it leaves him braindead. Anders is then converted into Galactica's own hybrid, providing much needed defence and operational measures for the old girl. Michael Hogan. Final Five Member Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

As a member of the Final Five, Tigh is fundamentally different from the other models. Tigh is a brash and stubborn man. Hes not fond of popularity and strives to do things that make him a cause for blame.

His methods when in command usually result in violence. Tigh has also proved to be self-destructive and is an alcoholic. Considering his age an interaction with other human characters throughout history, Tigh's revelation of being one of the Final Five was a shock to everyone.

He becomes the de facto leader of the group. Rekha Sharma. Final Five Member They don't want to hear the truth. They're tired, exhausted. The idea of stopping, laying down their burdens, and starting a new life right now is what is resonating with the voters. As a member of the Final Five, Tory is fundamentally different from the other models. Her 'programming' is not as easy to classify. Tory has an organised and serious persona. She is willing to get the job done with no regret.

After hearing the strange music within the walls of Galactica she starts to become erratic and irresponsible in her duties. She eventually starts sleeping around which further puts her position in jeopardy. When the opportunity arises for her to rejoin her people, she takes the first transport away. However, the avatar became unstable and dematerialized, and the U collapsed after only a few short seconds.

After sometime, though, the unit wakes up in a lab, and recomposes itself. In a familiar voice, the Cylon finds a phone, and dials out to Lacy Rand. It is none other than Zoe Graystone ; her avatar somehow surviving the collapse of the data stream earlier. Sometime after the successful testing and production of the U, Graystone Industries produced models for the general civilian population, and business sector.

These models were smaller than the U, and about the same height as a typical human male. Depending on their use, these models featured different painting schemes on their chassis, and different armor plating. They are utilized in the working sector as "blue collar" labor, and can be seen working trash collection, and building construction CAP : " Apotheosis ".

Private sector Cylons are capable of typical home maintenance, and chore work. Eventually, the population becomes comfortable enough with the Cylons to even let them babysit their children. At the outbreak of the Cylon War , these models join up with their military counterparts against the human population TRS : " Blood and Chrome ". The Cylon War-era Centurion [1] , or as some of the Colonials contemptuously referred to them, "chrome toasters ", was apparently the last Cylon model to have been extensively documented by Colonial authorities after the Cylon War.

It is a primitive model, resembling a short, clumsy humanoid with a single red eye. According to Saul Tigh , [2] they had a distinctive "stink" of machine oil. These Centurions made up a huge part of Cylon forces during the First War, and participated in all major engagements, where they were used as ground troops, or raider pilots. During the War, these models were known to be merciless in their fighting — in his recollection of the Brenik , Saul Tigh recalls their vicious tactics in hand-to-hand combat: "The first one was Duncan Raverty.

I found him in the corridor. His guts were strewn around on the floor. Y'know, at first I couldn't figure out why the Cylons would bother doing something like that [ They hated us.

They hated us so much it wasn't enough just to kill us" " Scattered ", deleted scene. This model's replaced by the modern Centurion sometime after the war, although, a relatively small group of this model survives the "upgrade" on the Guardian basestar until its destruction by Colonial forces TRS : " Razor ". Other models are still present on The Colony , and help defend it after Galactica attacks.

Created sometime prior to the tenth year of the First Cylon War, these cybernetic snakes and other Cylon "critters" represent another evolutionary step in the Cylons' ultimate goal of merging human and machine. None have been encountered off the icy planetoid Djerba , where they live among the glacial ice, after carving out a network of tunnels. At least two are encountered by the crew of Wild Weasel , after landing on the planet to rendezvous with a marine special ops team.

According to Xander Toth , they are extremely hard to kill without the right weapon. Having been on the planet for sometime, Toth also claims they make for good eating, if the mechanical parts are removed first Blood and Chrome. Four copies of this model attack a former ski lodge on the ice-covered moon Djerba where William Adama , Coker Fasjovik , Beka Kelly , and Xander Toth have taken refuge.

One Centurion hunts Kelly, while another finds Adama. The Centurion that stops to inspect Kelly scans her dog tags, which appear to hold a set of data stream bits. Two are destroyed by Adama and Fasjovik and the other two are destroyed by Toth after fatally wounding him. According to Kelly, this model feels pain, and can be heard "screaming" after being shot by Fasjovik Blood and Chrome. The current mainstay of Cylon ground forces, the modern Centurion is a taller, swifter and more agile unit than the Model Its "fingers" serve as edged weapons in close-quarters combat, and can retract to make way for projectile weapons built into its forearms.

There are apparently two armor configurations - the Centurions encountered by Lt. Karl Agathon on occupied Caprica were susceptible to normal small-arms fire, while a boarding party dispatched to Galactica in a boarding action could only be impeded by explosive rounds TRS : " Valley of Darkness ". While the earlier Centurion models took a leadership role in their war against the Colonials, modern Centurions appear completely mute and are subservient to the human models.

To be honest, what makes the Threes iconic isn't necessarily the part they play in the story, but the person that plays them. The fact that Lucy Lawless, Xena, the warrior princess herself, plays the Three models means that her character tends to stick out in the minds of fans more than many other models of Cylon.

The Number Twos, who most often make their appearance on the series in the form of Leoben, are both unsettling and intriguing. Leoben's bizarre obsession with Starbuck was uncomfortable to watch, however it also kept him close to the main storyline. And in addition to that, his intense belief in his god as well as his knack for speaking in riddles definitely made him a memorable edition of Cylon. The thrill of discovering the Final Five throughout the course of Battlestar Galactica was arguably the most intense mystery that fans were desperate to know the answers to.

And while none of the Final Five characters were disappointing by any means, it seems fair to say that Tory Foster wasn't a major suspect, nor did she play much of a role in the grander story. Yes, she killed Callie, but that was really her biggest moment on the series.

Before the Final Five Cylons had been revealed on Battlestar Galactica , Starbuck was a heavy potential favorite for a Cylon who didn't know that she was a Cylon.

But the show pulled off a pretty decent bait and switch by making her husband Sam an unknowing Cylon instead, and given his entire story arc so far, it was definitely a good and unexpected surprise that Sam was actually a Cylon all along.

Obviously, the excitement behind the revelation of the Final Five was a massive mystery that slowly unraveled, and by the mere fact that Ellen Tigh was the last Cylon to be revealed as a part of the Final Five, her Cylon status was extremely memorable and iconic.
